Regarding the Known "Goldilock Zone"

Let's assume, for a moment, that you would attempt to travel to Tourquisian.¹

Being just about one-tenth astronomical unit away from the Sun, it is constantly being bombarded by unimaginable amounts of lethal radiation, enough to wipe off just about any organic molecule unlucky enough to have found itself there to start with (some scientists theorize about the possible existence of some "protection sphere" in its atmosphere, able to shield its surface from those lethal rays of death, however their claims remain just hypothesis for the moment). So, the first thing you'll need, is an extremely good radiation suit.

Now - upon descending into the atmosphere, you will encounter huge clouds, made not of water, but of molten lava, as the surface temperature is high enough to not only molten, but even vapourize the molten rocks² which consist its oceans. Yes - Tourquisian is so hot, that its oceans are literally molten rocks!

Normal water³ do only exist there in its gaseous, and highly combustionable form.

Furthermore: landing (at any of its scortched deserts), you'll be surrounded by not only molten rocks' vapour, but also by one of the deadliest gases known to exist: Acidian,⁴ a substance potent enough to (given time) eat away iron.

So: bombarded by extremely lethal amounts of radiation, surrounded by a deadly mixture, of Acidian and molten lava vapour, and all that, in the extreme heat of the innermost part of the Solar System, even with the best of protections, you shall be dead within just a few minutes.

Needless to say, No life whatsoever, could possibly ever have been able to evolve upon such a hellish world.

So, no: the only place for us to look for life, is upon nice and calm worlds within the Goldilock Zone, where the temperature is just right for water to be at its liquid form = not too jot, and not too cold. On world just like our beautiful Terra = the Orange World.⁵
