And My Comment:
Look, I don't know about apples (can't take them or leave them, only rwally Love them inside a Pie), and I sure don't care a bit about bananas, as long as those stay as far away from me as possible. And Grapes you can always dry into Raisins for the Ĥallà😍 of Šabàth, or for making Wine from.
Ĥowever! As You can easily see from my username and my Profile pic here, I *do* know a lot about Citrus. Take Oranges for example, the good ol' "Jaffa" Šamùti Oranges of my HomeTown for example. When I was a kid, at the good old days of the 1980's, it had been a common knowledge how you can only have Oranges on Winter, as should be. During this sad century, however, various jerks had decided they want to eat Oranges during summer, too for some reason. So all of a sudden, you can find them year round, also in august, or september. After they have spent about half-a-year(!) in a fridge somewhere.
And they also taste accordingly. Meaning, they have absolutely NO taste at all. And same goes for winter cucumbers (which are among the most tasteless things on the entire Planet, by the way).
A while back, it was actually during the lockdowns' year, I had bought a few oranges that looked real good. Tasted one.
It had the... "taste" of a slightly soapy water. Spat it out at once and threw it away. For some reason, anyway, I did not throw away the entire bunch.
And for six months, those pseudo-"oranges" had maintained their good looks.
Actual plastic "fruit", with practically unlimited shelf-life, full of "juice" the taste of sink-water.
I'd rather enjoy real Fruit, fresh from their Trees, at their rightful time.
