We are mere galactic infants, still using sub-light technologies, such as radio waves, and for whom anti-gravity and warp technology are still fantastic dreams and unsolved riddles.

We are no more capable of detecting the advanced, interstellar civilizations, than a tribal chief from the Neolithic era would have been able to detect smartphone network signals!

But, for sure, once we have developed enough, either later this century or sometime during the next one, I am absolutely 100% positive that Alien Life Shall Be Found - whether through them intentionally contacting us, or by us accidentally hearing, and for the very first time: understanding their signals.
