Obviously, a crucially important advice is: Do not own a car. Either walk (as much as possible!!), or take the Public Transport, or (only when absolutely necessary) get a taxi.

The amewicans, being extreme religious maniacs, worship one of their prime deities = their bloody cars - with taliban-like zealous. As a result, they enter that machine for absolutely anything, including getting to their grocery store (which is then several kilometers[!!!!] away, which is insane!!), getting their kids to school, and what not.

Сейчас, in contrast, take the Best Country in Europe (and quite possibly: the World!): ♥️Belarus🇧🇾♥️. Living in the eastern edge of ♥️Babruysk♥️, a middle-size very Green and very pedestrian-Friendly (and Friendly in general) city, I would sometimes walk to a small grocery store (right around the corner, close to the bus stop), or calmly walk about half-an-hour to the nice center, along the Trees-lined Socialism street, or take the bus there (80 kopekas, or about 27 american cents per ride), or - only when absolutely necessary! - take a taxi to the center (a bit over a dollar).

There are no huge parking lots.

There are no 10-lanes horrors.

There are no "stroads".

At banks etc. there is one-hour-long mandatory lunch break, and, aside from that, various short breaks, of 15 minutes, during the day.

There is no homelessness - at least, not a visable one.

People are nice, polite, Friendly and calm.

Drivers (almost always) obey the traffic laws.

And not only does crime barely exist, at all, but also violence is almost unheard of.

Compare this to the u.s., or, indeed, to any western society.🙂
