In my opinion, it is indeed crucially important to separate the discussion into two different questions:

1 - Is the bible against abortions? Well, no. As You have professionally pointed out, in no place does the bible forbids abortion - and at many places it is indeed obvious, that, as far as the bible is concerned, Life begins at birth. Interestingly, judaism - even at its most extreme version, of the black-clad ultra-orthodox people, those ones among them who do not even intermingle with any "modern" people (not even with the relatively modern ultra-orthodox!), in case of any risk to the pregnant woman's health or wellbeing, as a result of the pregnancy, IT IS, IN FACT, RELIGIOUSLY MANDATORY AND REQUIRED TO END THE DANGEROUS PREGNANCY, BECAUSE THE WOMAN'S LIFE COME FIRST, as she already IS alive, while her pregnancy only carries the potential for new life.

In case of economical difficulty for the family, the rabbis would probably attempt to recruit assistance, in order to convince her to avoid abortions, but, as far as I know, there is NOTHING like the shaming terrorist campaigns, carried out in the christian society!!

This is specifically regarding abortion.

And, by the way: so, suddenly the actual bible = the Jewish Hebrew one - is "too old, and so does not count"???

So What is with all the christian nationalists' and evangelical fundamentalists' OBSESSION regarding various aspects at THE EARLIEST parts of "Genesis"??? 😂😂😂

Government-subsidized HealthCare for ALL (the most obvious thing in Every Country on This Planet, except yours!! Would have saved how many lives???) = they oppose.

Reasonable Housing for All (Would have saved how many lives???) = they oppose.

Reasonable wages for All, so that all Families shall be able to afford raising more children = they oppose.
