Very exact and accurate. Here is how I see it, as a non-religious Jew turned Citrian (which, by monotheistic religions terms, would mean "Agnostic", if not Atheist).

Factually speaking, "heaven", "hell", "satan" and "angels" are all mere Fantasies. They are no more real than Neverland, Sauron or Kings' Landing. Just mere Fantasy Stories, first inspired by the Persians (and their dualism) and the Greeks, who heavily influenced judaism, and - as a result - its two main offshoots: christianity and islam.

No mentally Healthy and Intelligent Person would EVER believe any of those Fantasy Stories.

But, of course, rabbis, priests, mullahs and all other kinds of religious control-freakish führers _want_ mentally enslaved people to be in their sick and dark religious cults, so they brainwash them, and have them brutally brainwash their helpless and defenseless little children, into blindly believing just any sort of bullshit.

Now: being a genuinely Moral guy, I do my outmost Best to do good, and to be a good person, not because I believe there's some kind of "Life after death" (there isn't. But religious people, by definition, are sooooooo weak and feeble-minded, that they do actually afraid of death LOL Utterly pathetic really... so, they deny it to themselves, fantasizing about some sort of an "eternal continuation" instead, of "Life after Life" 😂😂). There is no such thing, since there is no "ethereal soul", which is disconnected from the body... our mind, our thoughts, are the result of the brain's chemistry and bioelectrical activity. As long as this goes on, it does. When it stops, it stops. 😃

Ka'éþ - the way to explain and easily solve the paradox You have here described is, that the evil people, the ones who use their free will to harm others = such as wall-street's rich enemies of the People, or their cruel and evil servants: anti-vaxxers, neo-nazis and so on, or various rapists and serial killers etc. - THEY, according to this religious fantasy, shall all go to hell, and thus would never make it to heaven; only the people who are good and kind, who use their Free Will to do good, are to make it into Heaven => and thus: Free Will will not cause any suffering. Simple. 😃
