Indeed, while reading his book (well, the guy's homevillage happens to be right next to my hometown, so guess I kinda wanted him to be right, perhaps?), his idea seemed to me (as an amateur layman, with no pretentious to any special Knowledge in the field - I'm just curious) to be somewhat possible at first, however once he started obsessing about how the entire scientific community shuts him down and gallileo... that was when I pretty much said, okay... a smell of "conspiracy" in the air... one of the major signs, that a theory is, actually, a bunch of nonsense... 🙂
