Well, keeping in mind that the lost israeli submarine "Dakar" took 31 years(!) to be discocered (1968 - 1999), at the relatively-shallow Mediterranean Sea between Cyprus and Rhodes, human-made stuff sank at the deepest depths of the oceanic trenches might take another century or two to be discovered.
