They had made such an insanely unlikely statement, that Homo Naledi = a being with a brain-to-body size ratio not much larger than that of a chimp - created CAVE ART - and then rush ahead to publish it WITHOUT ANY DECENT PEER REVIEW?????

Just throw their papers to the trash can, where they belong and strip those clowns of all their academic titles, please.

And, as for the nature of Homo Naledi themselves - the most likely scenario would be that we're actually talking about an archaic form ("Homo Kenyanthis" / "Kenyanthropos"?) of our own Ancestors, the "missing link" between Australopithecus and Homo Habilis, which had existed for more than 3 million years, and had somehow managed to hang on and survive all the way down to the Southern of the African continent by 250,000 years ago, PERHAPS picking up certain habits (better tool-making, fire, burial...) from their contemporary cousins-and-neighbours (Habilis, Ergaster/Erectus, Heidelbergensis, Sapiens...) along the way.

Oh, and ALL Scientific papers MUST be open access, ALWAYS. This should and must be enforced by law.
