Why I Do Not Support The BDS Movement (Nor Any Other Calling for Sanctions on Anyone)
While of course I am TOTALLY AGAINST the horrible genocide, carried out by the psychotic nazis, the zionists, on Gaza (and No, you jerks, I do not support hamas; in my eyes, hamas and all the political parties of the israeli government are precisely the same and must be punished in exactly the same way: a public trial in the Hague), I nonetheless do not condones the calls for a massive boycott on all israeli companies, or anything like that, and this is for two reasons:
A - Absolutely ALL such sanctions are racist. You are against the government of a country - or, even, against a vast proportion of that country's adult population that supports it - so you punish everybody: opposition activists, children, babies, everyone, simply because they were born to a certain ethnicity?
I call this racism.
B - Suppose a company, which is doing a Great goodness for the World at large = like developing Vegan alternatives, which have the potential to veganize millions of people, thus saving the Lives of hundreds of billions of innocent Animals; or creating innovative and revolutionary ways to get energy, thus saving the Planet and our very existence!! - happens to be from israel, or some other criminal country (burma, sri-lanka, the u.k., hungary...). Should we really break them by sanctions, thus destroying all the good they can bring to our World???
I say no.
